Are We Committed?

Wow!! I have been a part of a few different ABFs at Lake Pointe and this is the first one that I have seen such a commitment by so many men, from the attendence Tuesday night to b-fast this morning. It was uplifting to see the new faces this morning at the ole IHOP. Hope to see everyone next week...back at the McD's??? I miss Janice.

Ragging, Ranting, and Rough Housing

Why is our group of guy friends so fun to be around? It is, in my opinion, due to the sheer desire to get made fun of...to get beat down...and to point out all the mistakes we are making.

I'm not being sarcastic either...When McDave walked into Roots with a white, fluffy, Russian hat he ate up every second that we ragged on him for it. In fact, I bet he specifically put it on his head at 5am to receive a well deserved berating on that head piece.

I can say without hesitation that I enjoy the berating that I get from my buddies. It's part of the reason for taking up such hobbies as U.A...(Unicyclists of America).

Ok, that was a draft from earlier...here is the good stuff. On Tuesday, October 21st, Jason Ross emailed me a link to an article in the Dallas Morning News about his son, Brett Ross, and his very first triathlon. What a huge accomplishment for a 7 year old. We were very proud of our young guy, to say the least. It was without hesitation, or thought, that I quickly posted the article (copy & paste) to the www.Tri-ProSoap.Blogspot.com Page. Here is the article.

On Wednesday evening, October 22nd, I was finishing some paperwork on the day of soap making when I received this email below... and thus responded immediately. I'll let you be the judge and be truthful in your evaluation (see comment at beginning).

I can't express how angry your note makes me. You want use of one of my images after I've found YOU'VE VIOLATED MY LEGAL RIGHTS. You should know which one(s) are mine. It's your legal OBLIGATION to know the origin and make proper payment for content you publish before it's published.

Remove the image(s), don't ever post them again and I won't have Blogger kill your account for copyright violations.

Well fellas, if we ever need a bad mutha blog name, it's at your disposal. Maybe a repository of prayer requests? Or a rebuttal site for MMM regulars?

Who knows ... It was in contention for the new blog name at jerrywelch.name but didn't crack the top 3. Too exclusive I guess. If anyone actually posts a comment, I'll set us up as members.
